First-year

Beyond the application, first year students must also submit a High School/Secondary School Transcript, One College Counselor Recommendation or Teacher Recommendation, Interview (required for students applying without test scores, highly encouraged for students submitting test scores), and Standardized Test Scores (optional). There are no application fees. Our deadlines are Early Action 1/Early Decision 1— November 1, Early Action 2/Early Decision 2 deadline—January 15, and Regular Decision—February 15.

Transfer

Transfer students looking to apply to the College will also need to submit official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended, official high school transcript, one professor recommendation (Transfers with less than 30 college semester hours may submit a secondary school teacher recommendation), interview (required), and standardized test scores (optional). There is no fee to apply. Our Fall deadline is August 1 and Spring deadline is January 1.

Additional Information

Lake Forest College is known for making the college experience an affordable one for our students and their families. You could receive up to $30,000 annually in merit-based scholarship.
