First-year

Ohio Northern University operates on a rolling admission for all first year programs except Pharmacy. In addition to the application, please have your high school counselor submit a high school transcript and official ACT or SAT scores (unless you are applying test-optional). An interview is also required for Pharmacy admission. For priority scholarship consideration, you are encouraged to apply by Dec. 1, 2022. You should apply as a first year student if you have not graduated from high school at the time of application. This includes students that have completed or are enrolled in dual enrollment/College Credit Plus coursework while still in high school.

Transfer

Ohio Northern University accepts transfer students for spring (January start) or fall (August start) semester. In addition to the transfer application, submit your official high school transcript and official transcripts from all current or previous colleges/universities. To be considered official, transcripts must be sent directly by the high school and all colleges previously attended directly to ONU to transcripts@onu.edu or to the following address.

At ONU, you should apply as a transfer student if you have completed a high school degree and have completed credits (or are currently enrolled) at another college/university after receiving your high school degree.
