First-year

A complete application for admission as a First Year Student includes: - Official transcripts from each high school and/or college that you have attended - Early Decision Agreement (if applicable) - Guidance Recommendation/School Report - Teacher Evaluation

For international first-year students, the following are required as well: - International Certification of Finances AND proof of English Proficiency.

Transfer

A complete application for admission as a Transfer Student includes: - Official transcripts from each high school and college that you have attended - College Official's Report - Instructor Recommendation - Course Descriptions (recommended but not required) - Mid-Term Report (if enrolled in your first semester of college)

For international first-year students, the following are required as well: - International Certification of Finances AND current bank statement(s) - AND proof of English Proficiency.

Through generous support from our alumni, Allegheny is able to provide over $55 million in Achievement-Based Scholarships and Need-Based Grant Assistance to supplement over $21 million in aid awarded to students from federal, state, and private sources. Consequently, Allegheny’s financial assistance allows many students the opportunity to make a college choice based on value and fit, rather than financial constraints.

The best way to get to know Allegheny — and for us to get to know you — is by spending time on campus. We offer individual visits on weekdays and select Saturdays throughout the summer. If you do not see desired times on the day that you wish to visit, please call the Office of Admission to see if we may be able to accommodate you. When possible, we ask that you register at least one week in advance to ensure that we can meet all your requests.
