Antioch College is a small liberal arts college in Yellow Springs, Ohio. Students who choose to study here are committed to the idea that education should prepare them for real engagement in the world, whether they become artists, attorneys, policymakers, educators, health professionals or entrepreneurs. Students set their educational purposes and are supported as they pursue their curiosities and passions; each completes a self-designed major leading to a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degree. In Antioch’s Cooperative Education program, students spend periods of full-time, compensated work and research three times during their undergraduate career.

First-year

Antioch College welcomes applications from students who demonstrate creativity, a willingness to work hard and contribute to community, as well as those who exhibit determination, self-awareness and maturity. Candidates for admission are encouraged to provide evidence of 1) college readiness, 2) foreign language study, 3) four years of English, math, science and social studies, 4) a history of work, volunteer and/or leadership experience, 5) participation in extracurricular activities. Test scores are optional and there is no minimum GPA requirement.

Transfer

Antioch College provides students who have previously earned credit at an accredited college or university with a pathway to a bachelor’s degree that values their previous education and experiences. You may transfer up to two full years of academic credit when you continue your studies at Antioch College. These can include credits from coursework at another college or university, credits earned from AP and IB exams, workplace experience through our Cooperative Education program, and military coursework.

Additional Information

Cost should not be a barrier to education, and Antioch College does all it can to provide students with the maximum need- and merit-based aid for which they are qualified. 100% of students attending Antioch College received some form of need- or merit-based financial aid. 

Antioch College will provide last dollar scholarships to all students eligible for the Federal Pell Grant.
