Catawba College is a rolling admission institution meaning that applications are evaluated as they are received versus waiting to evaluate after a hard deadline.  

Decisions for the upcoming cycle will be made beginning October 1st. 

Applications and all necessary required items must be submitted by the following dates for consideration: 

Early Action Priority Date (non-binding): November 15th with decision notification on or before December 15th

Regular Decision Priority Date: February 15th with decision notification on or before March 15th 

Rolling Admission Period: Applications submitted after February 15th will be reviewed on a space available basis.

Transfer

In order to transfer to Catawba College, students must be academically and socially eligible to return to the school they are currently attending or in which they were previously enrolled; and must have attained a cumulative college GPA of 2.0 or higher.

Students with less than 24 hours of college level course work will be evaluated for admission based on their academic performance in high school as well as in college level course work. Students with 25 or more credits of college credit will be evaluated based on their transfer work only.

Catawba's campus visits are customizable and generally begin with an admissions conversation, followed by a student guided walk throughout our beautiful campus. We can assist in setting up visits with professors and coaches, as well as opportunities to attend a class, an activity, or a meal with a student in our cafeteria. A standard weekday visit requires at least an hour and 45 minutes, or you can plan as much as you like as often as you’d like.
