Nestled in 650 acres of a wooded campus and located on the banks of the scenic Ohio River, Hanover College is a private, liberal arts institution where brains and beauty truly intersect. Our rigorous interdisciplinary academic program with 34 majors attracts the best and the brightest from across the region and beyond.

At Hanover, students can design their own major, start their own club or organization, and spend May Term immersed in a single course – often abroad. Hanover students leave here with a professional resume, already full of authentic work from their undergraduate internship, combined with practical meets technical experience in their chosen field.

Visiting campus will be one of the most important and informative steps in your college search. A typical visit includes a walking tour and meeting with a member of our admission staff, but there are plenty of additional ways for you to customize your experience! You may also request to sit in on a class, meet with a professor in your area of academic interest or chat with a coach. Head to www.hanover.edu/visit or call (800) 213-2178 to schedule yours!

In addition to its fantastic education, Hanover offers an overwhelming amount of extracurricular and leadership opportunities. I played varsity sports, sang in several choirs, studied abroad, and served in many leadership roles across campus. While stressful at times, keeping a busy schedule on top of my studies further developed my time-management skills and provided me with avenues of stress relief from the classroom. I had more free time in graduate school than I ever did during my four years at Hanover.
