First-year

First-year applicants are any applicant entering Lawrence Tech directly from a secondary school, or those who have not completed any college coursework following graduation from a secondary school. Dual enrollment students and graduates from a middle/early college program are considered first-year applicants.

Transfer

Transfer applicants are any applicant who has completed ANY college-level coursework following graduation from a secondary school. Students wishing to pursue the Post-Bac in Pre-Medical Studies program will apply as a transfer applicant. College guest students looking to take a course(s), will fill out the transfer student application.

Additional Information

Freshmen students - once you have been admitted to Lawrence Tech, we'll automatically review your transcripts and test scores to see if you're eligible for any of our merit-based scholarship awards based on the following eligibility requirements. Students are only eligible for one merit based scholarship or the Raise.me micro-scholarships. Merit based freshman scholarships, Raise.me micro-scholarships and private and portfolio scholarships are only offered to new incoming students in the fall semester.

Transfer students - once you have been admitted to Lawrence Tech, we'll automatically review your transcripts for transfer credit and merit scholarships. Students are only eligible for merit based scholarships in the fall semester and are only offered to new incoming students.
