List College students are academically motivated, Jewishly curious, and eager for a transformative college experience. Our students explore, collaborate, and challenge themselves to deepen their education during the years they spend in our unique dual-degree programs. First-year applicants, those applying directly from high school or a gap year, submit the Common Application, Writing Supplement, and send all supplementary materials to the List College Office of Admissions. Complete applications are shared with Columbia and/or Barnard, and the schools make a joint admissions decision.
List College students are academically motivated, Jewishly curious, and eager for a transformative college experience. Our students explore, collaborate, and challenge themselves to deepen their education during the years they spend in our unique dual-degree programs. Most transfer students apply after their first year at another institution. With an acceptance, students receive a tentative credit evaluation including the number of semesters required to complete the two degrees. The time required will depend on a student's Hebrew knowledge and the number of transfer credits awarded.

"Our students are intellectually curious and sophisticated, passionate and dedicated, kind and compassionate. It is joy to be able to guide these students through our program, and a thrill to see them enter and inhabit their adult lives and selves."
