Our Lyndon campus, 195 acres located in Vermont’s stunning Northeast Kingdom, offers distinct professional programs based in a liberal arts core where every degree is infused with practical, real-world experience and career-ready skills. Specialized programs ranging from Atmospheric Sciences, Mountain Recreation Management, and Electronic Journalism Arts to Music Business and Exercise Science prepare students for career success.

Known as “Vermont’s adventure recreation campus” complete with trails for running/skiing/biking, a terrain park, and ropes courses, the Lyndon campus location offers easy access to ski and bike centers such as Burke MountainJay Peak, and Kingdom Trails.

By combining more than 200 years of history in liberal arts and professional learning, NVU offers expanded access to a faculty with a broader and deeper depth of expertise and experience. Students collaborate with and learn from a network of peers and staff on both campuses. And the alumni network will include Lyndon and Johnson graduates all over the world who will help students get their foot in the door to their degrees immediately to work in their chosen profession.
