Old Dominion University, located in the coastal city of Norfolk, is Virginia's entrepreneurial-minded doctoral research university with more than 24,000 students, rigorous academics, an energetic residential community, and initiatives that contribute $2.6 billion annually to Virginia's economy.

ODU features a variety of ways to explore the University. Campus tours are led by student ambassadors and last about two hours. Allow about five hours for our Open Houses, held several times throughout the fall and spring and take a more comprehensive view of ODU and what it takes to be a Monarch. First Fridays feature an in-depth look at several Colleges including Science, Engineering and Health Sciences and are held from 2 to 4 p.m.
