Additional Information

The Claremont Colleges
As a member of The Claremont Colleges, Pitzer students have access to 2,500 courses per semester, 250 clubs, and 17 eateries across five contrasting yet communal campuses.

The Pitzer Experience
Everything the Pitzer community does is in service of our five core values, which highlight Social Responsibility, Intercultural Understanding, Interdisciplinary Learning, Student Engagement and Environmental Sustainability. Interdisciplinary fields like Environmental Analysis, Media Studies and Human Biology top the list of our most popular majors, while students have the opportunity to live and learn in LEED-certified buildings surrounded by native-to-California, drought tolerant landscaping. Students sit on every major college committee, including the Faculty Tenure Committee, as voting members. Pitzer is a top producer of Fulbright Fellowship recipients, and 53% of our students will study abroad before they graduate.

Financial Aid
Pitzer is committed to meeting 100% of demonstrated need through a combination of grants, loans and work-study. Limited merit aid is also available. During the 2021-2022 academic year, approximately 42% of the Pitzer student body received some form of financial assistance. Visit our website for information on need-based financial aid application requirements.
