First-year

You hit submit on your application - now please review our application checklist to see what else we need to complete your application. If you applied Early Decision, to the accelerated medical program, or to a major that requires a portfolio, please be sure we receive the required items to complete your application. Please note there are also a few additional requirements for international students (students who are not a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident). Rensselaer considers any student with fewer than 12 transferable college credits completed after high school as a first-year student.

Transfer

Rensselaer considers any student with 12 or more transferable college credits completed after high school as a transfer student. Please visit our website for specific transfer application information.

Additional Information

All applicants who are a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident will automatically be considered for merit-based aid. Students seeking need-based aid are required to fill out both the CSS Profile and the FAFSA.
