Application information
Find out about requirements, fees, and deadlines
As a first year student, Rowan University recommends all students submit a Common Application. In addition to the Common Application, your official high school transcript, letter(s) of recommendation and SAT or ACT scores (unless applying test optional) are required for evaluation. Once your application is complete, it will be evaluated and you will receive a decision within one week (decisioning begins October 15).
To apply as a transfer student, please complete the Transfer Application at apply.rowan.edu/apply. Transfer students must have at least 12 credits completed at the time of application. If you have fewer than 12 credits completed, please fill out the Common App for freshman admission. Please have the official transcript sent from each College or University you attended to the Office of Admissions. Additional Information
In addition to scholarships, our Office of Financial Aid is committed to providing you with assistance in applying for different types of aid that may help you pay for your college education. We'll give you the information and resources you need to decide which type of aid will work best for you. We determine a student's eligibility to receive grants, loans, and participate in the federal work study program. We also administer the Rowan Opportunity and Garden State Guarantee Programs. Both of these programs provide additional grant funding to eligible students to ensure tuition and fees are either fully covered or reduced to the program's cap on cost.
