Saint Louis University’s Madrid Campus offers you an ideal multicultural environment where you can discover the world and prepare for your globalized future. An innovator in international education, SLU-Madrid is home to 1200 students from the United States, Spain and more than 60 other countries. Saint Louis University is a Jesuit institution with campuses in St. Louis, Missouri and Madrid, Spain. The Madrid Campus offers 16 fully accredited degrees that you can complete in Madrid, or you can choose to study on both of SLU’s campuses. You can also begin more than 70 different SLU undergraduate majors in Madrid then transfer to St. Louis to complete the programs.

First-year

If you are in your final year of secondary school (high school), or have completed fewer than 24 U.S. college credits (two semesters as a full-time student) prior to your solicited entry term at Saint Louis University, you should apply as a first-year student. We do not have an application fee.

Deadlines for applicants who require a Spanish student visa and will apply from the United States: Fall: April 1 Spring: Oct. 1
Deadlines for applicants who require a Spanish student visa: Fall: May 1 Spring: Oct. 1
Deadlines for applicants who don’t require a Spanish student visa: Fall: Aug. 1 Spring: Dec. 15

Transfer

If you will have attempted at least 24 U.S. college credits or will have completed one academic year (two semesters) as a full-time student prior to your solicited entry term at Saint Louis University, you should apply as a transfer student. We do not have an application fee.

Scholarships and Financial Aid

Merit-based scholarships:
All first-year and transfer students are  considered for merit-based scholarships. No separate scholarship application is required. Up to 9200€/yr.

Madrid Campus Catholic High School Scholarship: For first-year students who have completed their last two years of high school at a Catholic high school.  2000€/yr.

Madrid Campus Jesuit High School Scholarship: For first-year students who have completed their last two years of high school at a Jesuit high school. 2500€/yr.

Madrid Campus Antiguos Alumnos Award: For first-year students who are dependent child of SLU alumni who have attended at least one academic year at SLU-Madrid. 1500€/yr.

Family Award: For families with more than one dependent child enrolled simultaneously at Saint Louis University (Madrid and/or St. Louis). 1500€/yr.

Departmental Support Scholarships: Degree-seeking students assist in various  campus departments (e.g. library, bookstore, computer labs, Student Life, Office of Admissions). 550€ max./semester.

U.S. Federal Financial Aid: U.S. students and permanent residents are eligible  to apply for U.S. federal financial aid via FAFSA.
 
U.S. Military and Veterans: Discounted tuition rates for select programs. SLU is also a member of the Yellow Ribbon program.
