First-year

Applying as a Freshman is done online. We require official high school transcripts, with SAT or ACT scores optional. A personal essay and letter of recommendation are also highly encouraged. All BFA programs in our Theatre & Dance Department and Visual Arts & New Media Department, require an audition/portfolio. All programs within our School of Music are audition based as well.
If Applying for Fall 2024, for BFA Acting or BFA Musical Theatre, both have a pre-screen audition deadline of 2/16/24. If applying after that date, you may not be able to audition and will require a change of major.

Transfer

Applying as a Transfer is done online. We require official college transcripts from every post high school institution you've attended. Most programs require a 2.0 GPA for acceptance. Education programs and our Communication Disorders & Sciences program require a 3.0 GPA. All BFA programs in our Theatre & Dance Department and Visual Arts & New Media Department, require an audition/portfolio. All programs within our School of Music are audition based as well.
