A first year student is one attending college for the first time, even if they took dual-credit courses in high school. First year applicants must provide official ACT or SAT scores to the university (if applying for a test score admission review), as well as an official high school transcript and personal essay.
If you have enrolled at a college or university after graduating from high school you may apply to attend the University of Missouri as a transfer student. Please check the full list of transfer requirements and apply directly through the Mizzou application. The University of Missouri does not accept transfer applications through the Common App.
The University of Missouri has several options for students and families interested in visiting our campus. One option is our weekday individual visits which include a 45-minute admissions session followed by a 75-minute walking tour including the award-winning recreation center and a residence hall. You’ll have the option to schedule academic presentations and appointments either before or after your admissions session and tour. Contact us directly for more information.
