The University of Vermont considers a first year student any applicant that is in the process of completing high school or has completed high school, but has not yet matriculated to a college or university. This includes U.S. citizens, permanent residents, refugees, or asylees. Apply via the Common Application by November 1 for Early Action or Early Decision and January 15 for Regular Decision with your nonrefundable application fee of $55. Apply via the Common Application by June 1 for fall transfer and November 1 for spring transfer with your nonrefundable application fee of $55. Additionally, please request a final, official high school transcript be sent by email from your high school directly to UVM Admissions (admissions@uvm.edu) and contact each college/university attended directly to request an official transcript be sent to UVM (Registrar may submit official transcripts electronically at collegetranscriptsubmission@uvm.edu.)
