First-year

Gonzaga takes a holistic approach to admission by carefully considering the following criteria: curriculum and school, grade point average and grade trends, SAT or ACT scores, college essay, activities, and character. As a first-year applicant for admission, you are expected to graduate from an accredited high school with a college preparatory curriculum while showing evidence of ability to complete the University's requirements for graduation. Students with college credit taken BEFORE high school graduation (e.g. Running Start) should apply as a First-Year student. Home-schooled students are also invited to apply.  gonzaga.edu/admissionreqs

Transfer

The Transfer Application is intended for students who have graduated high school and have enrolled in college coursework following high school graduation.  Apply directly through Gonzaga’s website at https://apply.gonzaga.edu/apply/.  Completion of 30 semester/45 quarter credits from a regionally accredited institution is recommended.  Applicants should have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7 at the college level; first-year transfers must also meet high school admission requirements. In addition, the most recent coursework should be completed with a 2.7 GPA or higher prior to transfer. Finally, applicants should have maintained good standing at the current or most recent institution attended.
