Sierra Nevada University

Sierra Nevada University

Nestled on the shores of Lake Tahoe, Sierra Nevada University offers you a unique chance at a world-class education. SNU was voted one of the most beautiful campuses on the West coast, but SNU is more than a gorgeous campus. As Nevada's only accredited 4-year private institution, our areas of study cover a range of traditional and non-traditional majors within a multitude of departments. Our emphasis on professional preparedness means that you will graduate SNU with not only the skills required in the modern workplace, but with internships and real-world experiences that can be highlighted in a resume. Our graduates leave SNU as well-rounded individuals focused on themes around entrepreneurial thinking, social sustainability, creativity, and steadfast determination.

SNU will always have a special place in my heart. I would never have had this level of success if it were not for my mentor, Christina M. Frederick, Ph.D. She gives her time, energy, and her own resources to help her students succeed.
