First-year

Undergraduate admission to Franklin University Switzerland is selective, competitive and based primarily on the following:

  • High School Record
  • Personal Recommendations
  • SAT I or ACT Scores (Optional)

By the time you start your application, you are expected to have completed a solid university preparatory program. We recommend a program that includes four years of English grammar, composition and literature; three years of a foreign language; three years of history; three years of mathematics, and two years of science. Course work in areas such as art, computer science, and music is also recommended.

Transfer

We enroll transfer students for both Fall and Spring semesters. As a transfer student you may transfer up to a maximum of 60 credit hours for the Bachelor of Arts degree. The applicability of credits towards major requirements is determined by the Registrar in consultation with relevant departments.

Each applicant must submit the following:

  • A personal statement
  • An official copy of the university transcript showing courses and grades.
  • Transfer applicants must submit one letter of recommendation from a professor, foreign study advisory or Dean, or two letters from employers if the applicant has not been enrolled in school for more than one semester prior to the time of the application.
  • Dean's Report from the Chief Student Affairs officer of the college or his/her designee.
