Saint Joseph’s College of Maine offers a liberal arts education to students on the shore of beautiful Sebago Lake. First-year

If you have decided to apply to Saint Joseph’s College of Maine and have not taken any college courses after high school you will be considered a first year applicant. In order to complete your application to SJC we will require the common application, official transcript, and either one teacher or guidance counselor recommendation. We are a test optional institution.

Transfer

If you have decided to apply to Saint Joseph’s College of Maine and have taken college courses after high school, you will be considered a transfer applicant. In order to complete your application to SJC we will require the common application with official transcript from both high school and college and one recommendation, preferably from an academic institution. We are a test optional institution.

Additional Information

Saint Joseph’s College of Maine offers merit-based scholarships as well as need-based financial aid. Students are evaluated for scholarships at the time their application is reviewed. We offer merit-based scholarships up to $25,000 per year. In addition to scholarships, we offer need-based financial aid.

The Early Action deadline is for students who are looking to get a decision back early. Students who apply and are complete by November 15, will also recieve their decision by winter break. First Year students who appy and complete their application by November 15, will receive a one time $1,500 scholarship. 

Saint Joseph’s College reviews on a rolling admissions basis and will review student’s applications at any time through the year.
