Common App Ready Tools and Resources

Your days can be complicated. Preparing your students and families for the college application process doesn’t have to be. Get. Common. App. Ready.

Common App Ready is a series of ready-to-use resources and training documents covering every aspect of the Common App from creating an account to submitting an application. Made just for you - with your needs in mind.

Last year, counselors around the country used Common App Ready to enhance student application workshops and college nights.

This year, we wanted to make it even better.

Nearly 4,000 counselors completed an end-of-year survey, providing valuable feedback about their experiences supporting students through the application process. Meredith Lombardi, The Common Application's Associate Director for Outreach and Partnerships and former school counselor at School Without Walls High School (DC), connected with some of these counselors to find out which tools would be most helpful.

You said:

* Offer a variety of multi-media materials to pick and choose from

* Provide more handouts for students and families

* Make sure documents are easy to print

The result - new videos, infographics, and documents like the High School Details Information Sheet. You only have to fill out this document *one time* then give a copy to all of your students.

"I had the opportunity to speak with several counselors about their use of Common App Ready, and based on these conversations, we have transformed this tool into a living library of time-saving resources," said Ms. Lombardi.
