2026 Common App Direct Admissions: Counselor updates and resources

Common App Direct Admissions simplifies the college admissions process by providing proactive admission offers to qualified students before they apply. Last year, more than 800,000 first-generation and low- and middle-income students received at least one offer of direct admission from 200+ participating colleges.

Common App will begin sending direct admission offers for the 2026-2027 application cycle to qualified students in mid-September.

We invite counselors, advisors, and other student supporters to join us to learn more about the program and how you can connect your students with direct admissions opportunities.
