Experiencing Alvernia University firsthand is the best way to know if it is the right school for you. Our 136-acre campus is located in a quiet residential neighborhood just minutes from downtown Reading, PA, in the heart of historic Berks County. We provide a variety of visit opportunities including individual visits, one-day shadow visits, information sessions, open houses, even overnights to get a real feel for life on campus. You can sit in on a class, talk with professors and coaches, meet with admissions and financial aid counselors, and tour our beautiful campus with current students.
“I came to Alvernia because I wanted real-world experience, and I got it in more ways than one,” said psychology graduate Alyssa Keiffer, referencing her head-start internship, international service trips and organization of a simulation on life as a refugee.
