To be eligible for freshman admission at Austin College, you should be on track to graduate from an accredited high school or an equivalent home school program within the next year. When we review your application, we're looking to understand the whole person behind the paperwork. Beyond your academic record, we rely on your extracurricular involvement, personal essay, and an interview with one of our admission staff to help us get a fuller picture of who you are and what matters most to you.
You've put in the effort—both in your studies and in exploring your transfer options—and at Austin College, that dedication pays off. Here, your hard work opens the door to transformative experiences. You might represent the college in our nationally acclaimed Model United Nations program, help manage a $1 million student investment fund, study abroad during our immersive January Term, or take advantage of all these opportunities. Whatever path you choose, you'll collaborate closely with our exceptional faculty as a true partner in learning.
