First-year
Students who have taken college work before high school graduation, through programs such as College Credit Plus (CCP) or other post-secondary enrollment options, are first-year students. First-year students also include those who have taken a gap year(s) and have attempted less than 12 college-level hours after high school graduation (or equivalent). Students who have attempted 12 or more college-level hours after high school graduation (or equivalent) are transfer students.
