First-year

Our holistic, student-centered review takes into account every aspect of your application: your academic performance and potential and out-of-class activities and the depth of commitment you have shown to them. We seek students who demonstrate critical thinking, community engagement, and perseverance. First-year applicants have graduated from high school or completed a high school equivalency exam. Students undertaking college coursework as part of their high school programs, or in order to satisfy high school diploma requirements, should apply as a first-year student.

Transfer

A transfer applicant is any student who has graduated from high school or earned a high school equivalence and upon matriculation to Brandeis University will have completed at least one semester of credit (12 credits) earned at one or more accredited institutions, including four-year private and public colleges and universities, community colleges, and international institutions after earning their high school diploma or equivalent.
