Applicants coming to Cairn University directly after graduating from high school (either public, private, or home schooled), or who have never attended college or university before are considered First Time students. First Time students are admitted to the University on a rolling basis.
If you have already begun your education at an accredited college, university, or Bible institute, the courses you took will be evaluated for transfer credit to the academic programs at Cairn. The amount of transfer credit you will receive is determined upon receipt of your official transcript from the institution(s) where you have completed post-secondary work. You may also need to provide course descriptions and/or a course catalog from your previous school. Courses in progress cannot be evaluated until official documents are received.
When people come to Cairn University’s campus, they have the opportunity to experience first-hand the environment and community our students, faculty, and staff live in every day. We welcome visitors to campus and look forward to the opportunity to show you Cairn. You can design your own personal campus visit with your specific needs and interests in mind by registering on our website: https://cairn.edu/visit/personal/
"I enjoy studying in a Christian academic community. The emphasis on Scripture in my major-specific courses in addition to my Bible and theology courses has strengthened my faith."
