First-year

A complete first-year application consists of the following:

  • High school transcript 

  • Essay 

Test Scores Considered

  • ACT and/or SAT I results sent directly to Centenary College from the testing service (we will also consider scores that are listed on an official high school transcript as official)

  • Strongly preferred but not required:

Test-Optional

In addition to the high school transcript and essay, students who choose the test-optional option are required to submit a letter of recommendation.

*Note: Test scores may be required for top merit award consideration.

Transfer

A completed application consists of the following:

  • An official high school transcript that indicates graduation date;
  • An official college transcript from each college attended;
  • A statement of reason for transfer (250 - 500 words) should indicate reasons for transfer, future academic goals, and a discussion of how Centenary will further those goals;
  • Letter(s) of recommendation from a college professor or advisor (not required, but strongly preferred).
