Centenary College of Louisiana

Centenary College of Louisiana, founded in 1825, is a selective liberal arts college offering undergraduate programs and a limited number of graduate programs in the arts, humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences. First-year

A complete first-year application consists of the following:

Test Scores Considered

ACT and/or SAT I results sent directly to Centenary College from the testing service (we will also consider scores that are listed on an official high school transcript as official)
- ACT Code for Centenary: 1576
- SAT Code for Centenary: 6082
Strongly preferred but not required:
- Resume
- Letter of recommendation
- Personal interview with an admission counselor

Test-Optional

In addition to the high school transcript and essay, students who choose the test-optional option are required to submit a letter of recommendation.

*Note: Test scores may be required for top merit award consideration.

Transfer

A completed application consists of the following:

An official high school transcript that indicates graduation date;
An official college transcript from each college attended;
A statement of reason for transfer (250 - 500 words) should indicate reasons for transfer, future academic goals, and a discussion of how Centenary will further those goals;
Letter(s) of recommendation from a college professor or advisor (not required, but strongly preferred).
