Central Michigan University

Central Michigan University

At Central Michigan University, we believe every success starts with a Fired-Up attitude. We offer a modern approach to education with innovative programs, flexible delivery modes, and a focus on career preparation.
From our Mount Pleasant home and our more than 20 higher education hubs across North America, our dedicated professors bring industry experience and a student-first approach to teaching.
Our more than 300 programs are packed with opportunities to engage and learn in the field. From day one, students have access to some of the region's most state-of-the-art facilities, including our MakerBot Innovation Center, Biological Station on Beaver Island, and Michigan's newest College of Medicine.
Through hands-on learning, internships and research opportunities alongside faculty who are teachers, mentors and future colleagues, our students graduate with an unmatched drive and confidence that when a problem needs solved, it's a CMU Chippewa who'll step up. That's what We Do.

Additional Information

We want to make higher education accessible and affordable. More than 80 percent of our students receive some sort of scholarship and financial aid, many from the merit and competitive scholarships ranging from $1,000 per year to a full-ride. Plus, we’ve had the lowest cumulative tuition increase in the state since 2009.
