First-year

Apply to Champlain College using the Common Application or the Champlain College Application. Champlain is a test-optional school, and there is no cost to apply. Champlain College offers two admission options:

  • Early Decision I: November 15, 2023 (perfect if Champlain is your top choice)
  • Early Decision II: December 15, 2023
  • Regular Decision: January 15, 2024

The following majors require a portfolio: Animation, Creative Media, Filmmaking, Game Art, Game Design, Graphic Design & Visual Communication.

Transfer

At Champlain, we have a dedicated team to help transfer students with applications, transferring credits, and financial aid. Apply to Champlain College using the Common Application or the Champlain College Application. Guaranteed housing is offered to those who complete applications by October 1 to start in the spring term or June 15 to start in the fall term. There is no cost to apply. We require official transcripts from colleges attended as well as high school transcripts.
