Additional Information

Champlain’s three-tiered academic approach encompasses the career, academic, and practical knowledge students need to grow personally and professionally and thrive in an ever-changing world.
  • Professional Majors: This is a student’s career education. Starting in their first semester students start taking classes in their major, or they can explore majors if they are Undecided.
  • Interdisciplinary Core: The Core curriculum is Champlain’s innovative liberal arts education and a key part of how Champlain uniquely prepares students for success. Students leave Champlain not just as experts in their fields, but as well-rounded global citizens primed to be intellectual leaders in the professional world.
  • The InSight Program: Champlain’s one-of-a-kind InSight program provides students with a comprehensive career and personal finance education. They will learn how to market themselves, negotiate salaries, and manage their money.
At Champlain College we believe when families are evaluating the financial implications of their student’s college choice, they should know exactly what they can count on receiving from the school. That’s why we created the Count-On-It Financial Aid Guarantee—when admitted students receive their financial aid award letter, they can count on their scholarships from Champlain never declining as long as they are enrolled full time—guaranteed. “The classes we take are all relevant and prepare us for internships and other things we do outside the classroom. It’s as if we learn something one day, then get to see it in real life the next day—it’s awesome!”
