First-year
You're a first-year student if you have not yet graduated from high school or you have not taken any college courses since graduating from high school. Students who have taken college course work while in high school will be still considered as a first-year candidate. Learn more about our first-year application process.
Fall Deadlines:
- Early Action: November 1
- Early Decision I: November 1
- Early Decision II: January 15
- Regular Decision: January 15
Transfer
You are a transfer student if you have taken college courses after graduating high school, regardless of whether you earned any college credit or plan on transferring credit to Chapman. Learn more about our transfer application process.

- Spring priority deadline: October 15
- Fall priority deadline: February 15
