In an effort to admit students who fit Chowan University, every application is reviewed on an individual basis with emphasis on the applicant's high school grade point average, high school class rank, and course curriculum. Test scores (SAT 1, CLT, and/or ACT score(s)) are optional. Extracurricular activities, including community service and church involvement, recommendations and essays are not required, but are welcomed.
