First-year
Colgate’s admission process is designed to identify individuals of academic skill, intellectual diversity, as well as wide-ranging interests and backgrounds. First year students have not yet matriculated in a college-level degree program. Applicants can choose between Regular Decision and Early Decision Option I or Option II application plans.
Transfer
Colgate offers transfer admission for both the fall and spring semesters. To qualify as a transfer student, you meet one of the following criteria: You have matriculated in a college-level degree program and now wish to attend Colgate University or you possess an associates degree.
