Much like our approach to education, our admissions process is holistic and personally engaged. We take our time to get to know each applicant, taking into account academic achievements, records of service, recommendations, and most importantly, a sincere commitment to engage with DRBU’s rigorous curriculum and unique contemplative approach to education. The essays are a particularly important part of the application as they give our admissions committee the opportunity to hear your voice and understand your thinking. 

The DRBU curriculum is fully integrated and all-required. Therefore, all students are admitted as freshmen, and we do not accept transfer credits from other colleges. However, college-level course work is strong evidence of academic achievement. These courses are taken into account during the evaluation for admission to DRBU. All students should apply as first year students.
