First-year

Edgewood College's First Year applicants are high school seniors or have already completed high school (or the equivalency) and will be attending a college or university for the first time in their academic career.

Transfer

Edgewood College's Transfer applicants are those who have already attended a college or university elsewhere, but are looking to transfer to another institution. Choosing a college that’s the right fit can be challenging, and it doesn’t happen for everyone the first time around. Maybe you’ve taken a break and are ready to complete what you started. Or maybe you’ve earned an Associate degree and want to turn it into a Bachelor’s. Whatever the reason, we’ve got you covered.

Additional Information

On a beautiful lakefront campus, just minutes from downtown, Edgewood College offers a small college experience in a big college town -- the best of both worlds. Consistently ranked one of the best college towns in the United States, Madison offers you access to great resources: music, art, theatre, big time sports, museums, restaurants and more. And it’s easy to get around town — there are miles of bike trails and all Edgewood College students can get discounted Madison Metro bus passes.

We integrate our values, learned from our Sinsinawa Dominican founders, into our distinctive liberal arts curriculum. Through service-learning and hands-on activities, you will connect your beliefs and what you learn with action. You will be prepared for a meaningful personal and professional life. By creating an individualized educational experience, we will develop your intellect, spirit, imagination and heart.

Edgewood College is committed to helping you and your family through the financial aid process, and we strive to make our high quality education affordable. In fact, private college doesn’t have to mean pricey. Last year over 99% of entering first-year students received grants or scholarships from Edgewood College. With merit-based scholarships available for excellence in academics, leadership and fine arts and numerous awards available for families with need, we are often able to provide a financial aid package that is competitive with nearly every institution that you may be considering.
