Additional Information

The national leader in experiential learning

Elon students are active, hands-on learners, involved in the classroom and through the five Elon Experiences: study abroad, internships, research, service and leadership. Elon leads the nation in global engagement with more than 160 programs in 50 countries, along with Study USA programs in major cities across the country.

Elon students enjoy the academic opportunities of a mid-sized university along with small classes, a 11-to-1 student-faculty ratio and the mentoring relationships of a student-centered community. Academic programs are all about getting involved and learning by doing. The results are a four-year graduation rate in the top six percent of U.S. universities and outstanding career placement rates, with 87% doing internships and 96% of graduates employed or in graduate school within a year of graduation. These outcomes earn Elon a “best-value” national rank by Princeton Review and top national rankings by U.S. News & World Report, College Factual and College Consensus. The bottom line: Elon students are talented and ambitious leaders who are well-prepared to take on great challenges and make the world better.
