First-Year Students are those students who are still attending high school and/or are also enrolled in college courses (dual-enrolled) and have not yet graduated from high school.
To aid you in the completion of your admission file, please be sure that the following items below are submitted to our office. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Transfer students are those students that have attended high school, graduated, and have attended or are now attending a two or four-year institution.

Fisk University offers merit-based scholarships to help academically talented students cover the cost of their education as University resources permit. In addition to a competitive academic record, students interested in merit-based awards should also present a record of demonstrated leadership and community service.>
As a Music major, I have been afforded many opportunities to perform both on stages around campus and so many off-campus. Being away from home can challenging but, I can truly say, the administration and professors were gracious and kind in helping me to navigate these obstacles.
