Application information

Find out about requirements, fees, and deadlines

Applying for undergraduate admission to Florida Tech is simple. There is no fee and applications are accepted on a rolling basis, year-round. Submitting the Common Application alone does not alone constitute a "complete application." In order for your application to be reviewed, you must also submit: official high school and/or college transcripts, standardized test (SAT or ACT) results (optional for international students), an essay, and a letter of recommendation.

Transfer applicants must provide official transcripts from all previously attended colleges and/or universities.

Additional Information

Florida Tech is proud to be able to make substantial contributions, in the form of need-based grants and merit-based scholarships, to offset our students' costs. As a result, the majority of our students find that the net or "out-of-pocket" cost of their Florida Tech education is far less than the published tuition— in many cases, over 50% less.

“Florida Tech really does an amazing job keeping everybody involved and, at the same time, inspired. Whether I was in class, in the dorm with my roommate and friends, or just wandering around Melbourne, I really did feel at home!”

Tiziano Bernard, Aerospace Engineer, '15, '16 M.S., '18 Ph.D.
