We offer admissions pathways rooted in promoting student success. Admission to FIU is selective, and when we review an application, we consider the applicant’s probability of success based on their academic accomplishments and opportunities.
For programs in music, art, architecture, and theater, supplemental application materials, portfolios, and/or auditions are required. For additional information, please visit the College of Communication, Architecture + The Arts website.
Applicants graduating with an Associate of Arts degree from a state college or university in Florida and a high school diploma may be eligible for admission under a special category. See website for details.
FIU requires all incoming students to submit all official academic transcripts. Applications will not be reviewed until they are complete.
