Find out about requirements, fees, and deadlines
Students who are still completing their high school education - or have recently received their diploma and have not taken college or university courses after graduating high school - are considered freshmen.
- ACT/SAT scores are not required if you have a GPA of 3.2+.
- Our scholarship application is included in the Application for Admission. For priority consideration, apply before February 1.
Georgia Southern offers regular, conditional and freshmen transfer admissions. To be considered for regular transfer admissions, you must have earned a minimum of 30 transferrable credit hours, hold a 2.0+ GPA, and be eligible to return to your current school.
