First-year

Our admissions process is highly individualized. We look at you as a whole student. We look not just at your previous academic achievement, but also at your personal qualities and intellectual promise—qualifications that may not be reflected in standardized test scores, which are optional in Goucher’s admissions process.

Transfer

Transfer students are required to submit an essay, an official college transcript(s) from all colleges attended, an official high school transcript (if fewer than 30 attempted credits), and a recommendation letter.  Goucher does not charge an application fee and transfer scholarships are available.

When you're trying to make up your mind about college, we understand you'll want to experience the campus; sit in on a class; and meet the students, faculty, and community members who will make it feel like home.

I'm in a place where I'm doing exactly what I had hoped. My classes are my passion, and I love my professors, so every day I want to work for it. Goucher is my home.
