Our admissions process is highly individualized. We look at you as a whole student. We look not just at your previous academic achievement, but also at your personal qualities and intellectual promise—qualifications that may not be reflected in standardized test scores, which are optional in Goucher’s admissions process. We have two forms you can choose from: the Common Application or the Goucher Video Application. We created the Goucher Video App to provide another opportunity for students to show us what makes them unique, and why they would flourish at Goucher. There is no application fee.
Transfer students must submit the Common Application as well as an essay, an official college transcript(s) from all colleges attended, an official high school transcript (if fewer than 30 attempted credits), and a recommendation letter. The Goucher Video Application is not available to transfer students. There is no application fee. Transfer scholarships are available.
When you're trying to make up your mind about college, we understand you'll want to experience the campus; sit in on a class; and meet the students, faculty, and community members who will make it feel like home. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are still not able to offer all our campus visit options, but we are offering daily drive through campus tours. And, beginning Monday, July 6, we are also offering on campus information sessions and counselor conversations on selected days/times. Virtual visit opportunities will continue.>
I'm in a place where I'm doing exactly what I had hoped. My classes are my passion, and I love my professors, so every day I want to work for it. Goucher is my home.
