At Gwynedd Mercy University, you'll see and be seen, hear and be heard, know and be known. That's because GMercyU is large enough to offer the academic, athletic, and real-world learning you're looking for, but small enough that professors know you by name. You can choose from more than 30 academic programs and take advantage of all that’s available on our private 314-acre campus, which is close to Philadelphia, one of the largest (and best!) cities on the east coast. Here, you will find a caring and supportive environment, and a deep commitment to making a difference - for ourselves and for others. That’s the Griffin Edge: Your Distinctive Mercy Experience.

First-year

At GMercyU, our goal is to make the college application process as smooth as possible! If you’re a first-year student, you will need to complete an online application. In addition, you will need to submit an official transcript from each of your high schools, colleges, and/or universities previously attended. Some programs require students to submit at least one letter of recommendation and complete an admissions interview if they choose not to submit standardized test scores---please refer to our website for more details! Once our Admissions Counselors receive your completed application, you will receive an admissions decision in about two weeks.*

*Nursing and Health Professions applications may take longer to review.

Transfer

Gwynedd Mercy University welcomes transfer students from two- and four-year colleges around the country and world. We have dozens of articulation agreements and course equivalency guides with area community colleges to streamline your path to a bachelor’s degree. To review the requirements to transfer college credits, visit our College Transfer Credits page.  We are also here to help, so connect with a transfer admission team member to get more details and support on your journey to become a Griffin!

Additional Information
