Students attending college for the first time in Lynn’s traditional undergraduate program are considered first-year applicants. Required materials include a completed application, official transcripts from all secondary schools attended, and official SAT or ACT scores or an indication you're applying test optional (homeschooled students must submit test scores). Optional supporting materials include a personal statement, letter of recommendation from a counselor or teacher, and an activities résumé highlighting extracurricular involvement, volunteer service, and other interests. International applicants must also submit proof of English language proficiency.

Students who have previously attended a 2-year or 4-year college or university and will transfer at least 12 college credits are considered transfer applicants. Required materials include a completed application and official transcripts from all colleges and/or universities attended. Optional supporting materials include a transfer report and any additional documents that help provide context for academic achievement and educational goals. International transfer applicants must also submit proof of English language proficiency.
