Macalester Admissions uses a test-optional policy and there is no application fee. Students are considered international applicants if their citizenship is of a country other than the United States. Undocumented/DACA students, or students who identify as a refugee, displaced person, asylum seeker, or stateless person, are welcomed at Macalester. Macalester offers fall semester transfer admission for students who have been enrolled at another college or university as a full-time, degree-seeking student. Students who have completed Post-Secondary Enrollment Options or equivalent programs within high school are not considered transfer students.
