Find out about requirements, fees, and deadlines
You're a first-year applicant if you are currently in high school or have graduated from high school and have not enrolled in a college or university since graduating.
To apply:
- Complete the Common App, including Messiah's brief essay and Code of Conduct.
- Send your high school transcript through the Common App.
- Standardized test scores are optional.
Once we receive all required materials, you can expect an admissions decision within 2-3 weeks, beginning in late August or early September.
Messiah University welcomes students who have earned academic credits from other colleges and universities following high school graduation. More about the transfer process and a link to our transfer application is available on our webpages designed with transfer students in mind.
