Find out about requirements, fees, and deadlines
Students who have not previously attended a university may apply to Miami University as a first-year student. For Fall admission, November 1 is the binding Early Decision application deadline and December 1 is the (non-binding) priority deadline for most of Miami's merit scholarships and our most competitive opportunities, such as the Honors College, nursing and majors within the Farmer School of Business. The final Regular Decision application deadline for Fall admission is February 1.
Students who have previously attended another college or university should apply to Miami University as a transfer student. Miami accepts and welcomes new transfer students for both the Spring (January) and Fall (August) terms. The Spring application deadline is January 1 and the Fall application deadline is August 1.
