Application information
Find out about requirements, fees, and deadlines
First-year students are students who are currently attending high school or who have graduated high school and have earned fewer than 12 hours of college credit. To apply to Millikin, first-year students should submit their application and transcripts. ACT or SAT scores are encouraged but not required. Recommendations are also welcomed and in some cases will be required, based upon high school GPA.
Transfer students make up nearly 20% of Millikin’s student body. Transfer applicants should have completed credits from an approved institution, a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher and a completed transfer application for admission. Transfer students must have official transcripts from EVERY college they have attended sent to Millikin.

"My Millikin experience has changed me for the better. I’m wiser. I have more confidence. I’m a leader. And, I’m more passionate than ever. I look at college as an opportunity to grow into a better person, and that’s what I’ve done since I’ve arrived at Millikin. I will continue to grow and spread my leadership throughout my city, my institution, and the world.”
