First year students are students who are currently attending high school or who have graduated high school but have not taken any college courses after high school. First year students should submit the application and be sure to include your ACT/SAT test scores and transcripts. Recommendations are also encouraged.
Transfer Students make up nearly 20% of the Millikin student body. Students who have taken any college courses after graduating from high school are considered transfer students and should complete a transfer application for admission. Be sure to have official transcripts from EVERY college attended sent to Millikin, too.

"My Millikin experience has changed me for the better. I’m wiser. I have more confidence. I’m a leader. And, I’m more passionate than ever. I look at college as an opportunity to grow into a better person, and that’s what I’ve done since I’ve arrived at Millikin. I will continue to grow and spread my leadership throughout my city, my institution, and the world.”
